This 1970s coastal home had a complete renovation and extension, maximising the stunning beachfront views to Kapiti Island. The kitchen dining and lounge areas became one big hub or meeting space. The client brief for the kitchen: Keep it simple, elegant and functional while maintaining the beach bach feel.
Futura Plywood white was selected for the joinery, using a lacquered finish to the laminated edges and 45-degree handle created a nice detail. The hero of the room is the stunning Blue Marr Granite Island top with the waterfall leg cascading down to the beautiful timber flooring.
