This large Executive home had a shiny red kitchen that was well past its time, the style was outdated and the storage was limited. The clients brief- modern, crisp, and functional with good storage solutions and a large island for prep and entertaining.

I designed a streamlined kitchen, flowing through to the dining and lounge, out to the pool and outdoor bbq area. With a large island 3200mm long x 1200mm wide there is ample room for entertaining and plenty of storage with hidden cupboards are at the front of the island. The Blum drawers have inner drawers systems, spice racks and bottle holders, the pantry is a Blum Space Tower.

The colour palette is Resene White to the main kitchen and Resene ½ Fuscous Grey on the island side, highlighting the grey tones from the stunning Silestone Calacatta Gold Benchtops/splash backs. Negative detail handles on the lower units compliment the lines of the upper units. Blum Servo- drive bifold doors (Electric door openers) are used for the upper units. Hafele Strip lighting has been used for both task lighting and ambient lighting. What a difference!
